Day Trip Packing List:
Before embarking on your day trip to Arches National Park, make sure you pack the following essentials:
- Plenty of water (at least 1 gallon per person)
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Comfortable hiking shoes
For shorter hikes, I would not be caught dead without my Chacos. These are so comfortable, and perfect if you are looking for a flexible shoe. These are NOT for longer hikes, as they do not offer much ankle stability.
- Snacks
- Lunch
- Camera
I am a huuuuuuuuuge believer in the Go-Pro. I use it to capture all of my adventures, and I love the quick capture ability. It helps me feel like I’m not wasting my time trying to capture photos. This is your sign if you’ve been thinking about getting one, commit!!!!!
- Map of the park (you can grab these at the Visitor’s Center or at the Front Entrance.
